On September 1, Brandenburg & Saxony go to the polls in state elections that could be a litmus test for Merkel’s government. Host Sumi Somaskanda looks into the possible implications of the upcoming vote with Berlin Policy Journal’s editor, Henning Hoff, the DW’s political correspondent Thomas Sparrow, and Krautreporter journalist Josa Mania-Schlegel.
