We are facing one of the biggest global health threats in decades which has led governments around the world to shut down daily life. But how is the race to contain COVID-19 affecting the people it’s meant to protect here in Berlin?

40-year-old Caroline Clifford teaches improv and stand-up comedy. Before the mandatory closure of clubs she was performing at least once a week.
But unlike many performers sidelined by the coronavirus crisis, the Neukölln resident is enjoying her hiatus.
