“I can’t get enough of my friends. I don’t see them very often. Lois and Kelly are visiting me from the States. We are traveling on the ICE, the intercity express from Leipzig to Berlin…”

“The subway surges above ground and I’m struck by the grey overcast. Bright enough to make me squint, but not sunny enough to make me smile…”

Monika Müller-Kroll is the producer of Wednesday 3 p.m. and no stranger to KCRW Berlin.

Noelle Currie is a tattoo artist based in New York City. She specializes in illustrative floral blackwork. When she’s not tattooing, she enjoys writing fiction and exploring the city.
