“I’m on the far outskirts of town, last top on the train. It’s Wednesday afternoon, I’m teaching German to preschool kids.”

“A light was on for several months. Each time I walked by the apartment I was wondering if the person had gone on a long vacation or if something had happened.”

Mike Trupiano is an American writer and actor in Berlin. You can see his short films on Instagram at @heartlandrefugee.
