todaySeptember 4, 2019
Wednesday 3 p.m. is a series of short stories — observations, brief memories, scenes from a life — recorded by writers in Berlin and around the world. Listen to two new stories each week. This week, we bring you “Holding Pattern,” a micro radio play written by Benjamin Lorch and voiced by Sheliza Ng and Herbert Genzmer. You’ll also hear Monika Müller-Kroll’s “Reggae.”

Benjamin Lorch is a Wahlberliner and Kreuzberger. He is also the host of the podcast Step One. Benjamin is hungry for tacos at all times.
KCRW Berlin’s Monika Müller-Kroll is the producer of “Wednesday 3 p.m.”
These true, personal stories were recorded live at The Bear on June 14 at Maschinenhaus im Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg. The theme of the evening was alone: stories about being a fish out of water.
